Hit pay dirt today at the swap meet and in Ft. Langley. The swap meet yielded a early..1923-26 era Hobble Skirt...although it may be from the late 20's it's still a difficult bottle to obtain and I'm pretty happy about grabbing it for $3 bucks!I have never seen the Calgary Big Orange before and was sure pleased to add to my collection, in fact I've never seen a paper label from that generation at all!...it sure would be neat to see other flavors. [attachment=20150816_142227_resized.jpg] Here you can see there is no patent date.[attachment=20150816_142543_resized.jpg] Yup that vertical rib goes right through the center panel...beautiful sight![attachment=20150816_142703_resized.jpg]

I found a shard of one of those coca cola bottles when swimming last week , it looks very similar to yours , you can see where it says " trade mark registered " and has the old coca cola lettering , also found a not broken and in good shape 1936 coca cola and another old coca cola that only has D and 5 on bottom looks to also be old

RCO yes it looks similar to the one I posted....but I can tell just by looking at that crude skinny script on that large shard that it is a D19!....great job!........please post the one showing the D and the five on the bottom....just to see what type of variation it may be.

Yea pretty good bottle to have RCO... I still need one. Dominion did not register their trademark until 1928, and a the date code was not introduced until 1940 according to information I have researched...which conflicts with a bottle I have that I believe to be dated 1938, anyways that one I'd say must be in the 1928-1935 date range. The vertical ribs do go right through that one right?...like mine posted above.
