My friend gave me this bottle to find info about. It is a real tall green bottle. its seams do not go through the lip. they stop where the bottle starts to curve. it has a paper label in tact that says Liquid Carbolic Acid. No. 5. 1 lb. and at the bottom of the label says F.C. Calvert & CO. Bradford Manchester. Any info or prices would be greatly appreciated.

Dave specializes in advertizing and other historical stuff concerning our beloved hobby. He was just giving you what he found in his books. The man is a treasure trove of bottle info. Sounds like your green labeled bottle is a keeper, if his info listed an amber one...green is generally more rare than amber...and the label makes it worth more as well.
please post a pic if you can.
