cobalt blue bottle NB&CO

I need help identifing this bottle. It has NB&CO on the lid and NB&CO 27 on the bottom. Does anyone know its age, contents, ect. I haven't washed it well yet. thanks. wm

Looks like the lid is a dose cap of some sort of medicine.
I'd venture to say it was Milk of Magnesia or some other medicine bottle.

Kovel's on-line price guide lists an item similar to your bottle with the NB & Co embossing as a medicine (patented 1910)
