Cobalt Squat Soda Union Glass Wks

Hello, i have a cobalt blue, mug base soda here embossed with Superior Mineral Water Union Glass Works Philada. on one side and J. Dowdall on the other. It has a iron pontiled base. I bought it for an amazing $5 at a goodwill store about five years ago in Lancaster, PA. I was wondering if anyone knew where this bottle is from. I am guessing somewhere in PA.

I believe your J. DOWDALL is from Wilmington , DEL.
It's a good one ! I'd estimate it in the $ 200.00 - 300.00 range if it's mint !
Nice find for $ 5.00 !!!!! Do you have any pics ?

I know, I couldn’t believe it was only $5. That’s a once in a life time find. I saw that other bottle on e-bay too and was going to bid but it was out of my price range. I would just like to thanks to all you people who are helping me with information on this site. I am so glad I discovered this site earlier today!

The Dowdall in cobalt is a Great find. This bottle is definately from Wilmington, and is worth between $1000 and $2000.
