I found this top while digging in back of my house on the bank of the brook. It is very similar to the mushroom type top on a Tippecanoe bottle, but it`s cobalt blue. I`ve looked through my bottle books and can`t find anything. I remember way back in maybe the late 1970`s that there was an article in Old Bottle Magazine about a Malaria Cure bottle with this top in cobalt blue, it was pictured on the cover, but I don`t remember what it was. I`m hoping to find the rest of it once the ground thaws out, but my curiosity won`t let me let it rest! Does anyone out there know what this was the top of? My house was built in 1744 and also served as a tavern up to 1800, so I`m hoping to have some good finds to share this coming year!

That`s the bottle I was thinking of. Hopefully I can find more of it, or maybe even a whole one! Even if I don`t, it`s still nice to have part of one anyways. Thanks to everyone for their help!
