Is there such a thing?

A friend of mine said she has one that she got from the side of an old house long ago,
its like a moonshine jug but says coca cola on it....

If there is such a thing, the best explanation I could think of was, maybe its a factory
used bottle for adding things to the soda????

Unless Sam's club was around back then selling bulk soda LOL

So what do you think?

Thanks-
Dawn

(P.s.. i asked her for a pic, but still think shes pulling my leg lol.. but what do i know lol)

Yes, coke came in Gallon jugs. It was the syrup for coke that was in them not like a gallon of soda such as a 2ltr. The syrup would have been used for medicinal purposes or would be added to soda water for a drink. Long gone are the days of the soda fountains. I was born about 20 years to late to enjoy those days. The value of the jugs depends on the condition of label and what label but on average a gallon jug would sell for $10+ today
