cold cream jar?

Im not sure if this is the right forum to post this PONDS jar with part of a label and rusted out lid! is it worth anything? how can i save the remaining label?

I do dig alot of these milk glass jars but they are all different shapes and sizes. I think they are cool so I started a collection. Ill post a pic soon. Ive heard that labels and lids or caps increases the value is this true?
