I went diving today, and it was very unpleasant, 15F air (not counting windchill) and 34F water...but it was worth it when I found a lovely, good condition, light aqua hutch! It says "BENSON BOTTLING CO MINNEAPOLIS" on the front, "THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD" on the back, and a big "B" on the bottom. Here are my questions:
1. The rubber stopper is in good condition, and I usually bleach my bottles to get the algae out (a couple cups of bleach to a pail of water, for a week or so), but I'm scared it will hurt the rubber. Also, I can't get a brush past the stopper. How do I clean this bottle?
2. Does anybody know the dates this bottling co was in business, or any other info? I can't find any on the net.....
