Hello, all!

Thanks for the thoughts on the gas light valve. I thought it looked like something along those lines. A pretty interesting looking piece!
Hi, Luckiest. I actually forgot to upload a photograph of that one. It was the Wanzer soil machine oil bottle. I pulled this one out of a shovel-full of dirt, and was surprised to see all the embossing it had on it! The full embossing reads, with the front side first:

"R.M.WANZER & Co / SEWING MACHINE / MANUFACTURERS / HAMILTON ONT"

And then on the rear:

"REFINED OIL / FOR THE / WANZER MACHINE"

A good-looking little bottle, and in great shape!

Love the druggist and even without seeing the other half, that sewing machine oil bottle is loaded with embossing! I like good old Canadian bottles, great work dudes!

Have you found a dump to dig in up in those parts?

Ya, we are currently working through a dump here in Southwestern Ontario. It is 1890-1920s ish..... but alot of TOC stuff in places. Have had some good finds such as cobalt poisons, embossed chemist bottles, local druggists and even a local transfer stoneware gingerbeer(a tough varient). Found alot of heartbreaker chunks, as with every dump, but it seems to produce enough interesting bottles to keep us going. Still waiting for that 1870-1890 dump to come along.... anytime now.
