Hi Thad there are a few different types of Cokes ...Hobbleskirts -Straight sided -Hutchinson And many more...im no coke expert but im pretty sure just from the knowledge gained from this here site the early birmingham hutches..demand a pretty penny...But Without pics your bottle could be anything...colorwise shape wise..these are what the folks around here use to evaluate and date Glass....so if your looking to make some people drool over that sweet find. .or maybe just have a Bottle worth a few bucks and a whole lot of sentiment..post a few pics .

Someone will Chime in with The info you need. Eric J ..Mass

Thanks Lobeycat!

Hey Thad,
The value of your bottle might depend on how rare that particular example is. It was made by an automatic bottle machine which makes it slightly more modern than the earlier hand tooled bottles. We have a similar coke from Wisconsin that is not too valuable. I'm guessing that they're worth about about $5. However, if yours is unusual (or a variant that is hard to find) it could be better. I'll see if I can fish up one to show you. If I do, I'll post it shortly.

THAD:YOU HAVE A VERY COMMON BOTTLE. IT IS [AS IT SAYS ON THE BOTTLE] A SODA WATER BOTTLE. THEY WERE PUT OUT BY COKE,BUT DON'T GET THE SAME PRICES AS A COKE BOTTLE. I THINK THERE WERE TWO FLAVORS IN THESE BOTTLES-ORANGE AND GRAPE. I COULD BE WRONG. LITERALLY 100S AND 100S HAVE BEEN DUG FROM THE DUMP IN MY TOWN. THEY WERE MADE FROM THE TEENS THROUGH THE 20S? ONE FROM A SMALL TOWN WOULD COMMAND A LITTLE MORE MONEY AS IT MAY BE RARER,BUT BIRMINGHAM WAS AND IS A PRETTY BIG PLACE SO I WOULD GUESS IN THE $5 -$10 RANGE. JAMIE
