Lead...So that's what happened to me. Wait, I've always been this way [:D]

I never really thought about that, but you're right. The bowl that I eat from is milk glass, so that one should be safe. I use the ceramic items for mostly utilitarian purposes. One of these days, I'm going to (carefully) have a Coke from one of my iron pontil squats. That would be cool. No Captain and Coke, I wouldn't want to drop it [&:] ~Jim

I do.
Mason jars ,shot glasses ,jam/jelly glasses ,and I reuse wine bottles that clean up well for bottling wine. But not the real good stuff, I dont want to take the chance of breaking the good glass.

I've been fortunate to find a few, over the years.

Nice glasses Ry. I only have one aqua pontiled complete one I dug this year with deep digger and diggergeorge. Countless broken ones. Countless for sure! Take shots from it all the time.

Not sure if I would tumble the scratches out like you did ... then it would look like a new glass.

Hell I didnt even scrub all the poo off it!

Whats up with the old name, thought you were locked out. Glad to see the old Gunth is back!

That name was locked out but I think Woody fixed it for me. I was at my sisters house down in Yorktown VA and just happen to log in with that account since I used it last on her machine.

Jim - make sure to take pics of you drinking out of the squat!

Dogtx - sweet to hear you reuse yours for everyday purposes as well

Surfaceone - that is a nice tumbler!!!!!!!

PJ - post a picture man, I want to see that! As for the scratches I like them cleaned up like that. When you hold it you know its not new!

Gunth - you need to bring back the old name its to classic

These were dug or found in dumps. We use the old jelly glasses not shown. Thanks, Marvin
