Hi all,

Dug this one at the 30's dump early this evening. It is an aqua Ball Improved. It is the first I have dug with the third L looking loop in the script. Probably not a lot of value, but I was very happy to find it intact. I am reasonably sure it is my oldest jar.

Thanks for looking,

hj

Digging any whole jar from a dump is a good thing!. This jar dates from around 1900-1910.

Thanks Jack.

You are right, quite a few canning jars in the dump but the vast majority are broken.

I do have an unlimited supply zinc lids and liners though...[:D]

I like how the underscore goes through the I. Whole jars do seem to be elusive, wouldn't it be amazing to see all the jars that all those lids and liners you find belonged to.
