Dug found and tripped over stuff

According to the N.A.R.D. Journal for October 11th, 1917, R. A. Carroll sold his drug store at Washington, PA to someone from Connellsville. Also, according to the book "Bloomfield," (no link) Carroll's Drug Store was located on the corner of Liberty Avenue and Cedarville Street of Bloomfield, PA. This is now a suburb of Pittsburgh.

My grandparents on my father's side, used to live on Cedarville St. I loved that neighborhood. It was the Little Italy of Pittsburgh at the time. I don't know if it still is. ~Mike

Thanks for all the replies ! Star ,thanks ,would like to see the marble maze sometime ,and yep memories are the stuff ! Mike (Rockhounder) that bottle is yours if you want it ,too far away from me for local collection . Penn Digger thanks ,yep i was nearly killed with kindness ,lots of great folks with great stuff ! Jim thanks ,have not had any good dumps for a while so the Stone points and marbles took over for a bit . Paul thanks , stopped buy a few marble sites recently and glad to see you had joined might try to make to Canton marble show. (Warning marbles are possibly more addictive than bottles once you start ,you tell your self they don't take up as much room etc.) Grant thanks ,yep as much as i do ,great hunting with you ! []
