Dug my first hutch! =)

Started this morning with the plan to go digging bright and early, be there by 7 - 7:30 the latest.. Ended up getting stuck doing things until about 2:00 this afternoon x.x .. I decided, screw it, I might as well give it a go anyway, and I'm glad I did! =) I ended up with a few keepers today besides the one bottle that sticks out...

Finally found a hutch!! [] A Quart sized "Peter.Rice Patterson N.J." with the wire stopper still inside.
(I looked it up on Hutchbook and Paterson is spelled wrong in the embossing) - *NJ0490*

The "P.R." on the back of it. (tough to see with the dirt still inside)

I'm sure you've probably already got this one Epackage, but as soon as I saw it I immediately thought of ya lol [sm=lol.gif]

Anyway, just thought I'd share this with ya. Hopefully it's the first of many more to come [sm=thumbup.gif]

Congrats. That's amazing. I have found hundreds of hutches and never once even a piece of a quart sized one.

It's a bit tough to see in the picture, but yeah it's aqua. I was just surprised, after viewing your pics of your hutches, to find one myself so close to home [].

Thanks guys =). This was the first hint I've had of finding a hutch at all so far. Usually I'll dig up the bottom of something, get me hopes up, only to find that it's a slick whiskey bottle or something. I'm just glad this one was facing the opposite way! []

Hopefully there will be more to come! []

Thats a nice one! I dug 2 quarts in my life from the same hole. Never dug another. Clean that up and post it.
