Jim, those regional rate boxes are a real money saver. I started using them about a year ago for ebay and for shipping my daughter's care packages to college in Memphis. The Regional A boxes ship for about the same price as a 1-2 pound package in a regular Priority box but there is no weight limit and will save money when shipping heavy bottles like Hutchinsons. The Regional B boxes will hold almost as much as a Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Box but cost about 30% less to ship, with no weight limit. The best thing is, if you use the ebay shipping calculator it charges the amount to ship a regular Priority box and you can actually print your label and ship for lower cost which more than offsets the ebay fees for shipping plus the paypal fees in many cases.
This works best when shipping heavy bottles. For example, blob top beere. Shipping 2 beers will cost the same by regular Priority or Regional B box, but shipping 3 or 4 or 5 beers will cost the same in a Regional B box as the cost of shipping 2 beers in a regular Priority box. Hope this makes sense. Sometimes you have to compare the rates, which you can easily do on the label shipping page, to see which is cheaper.
Jay
