Hey Y'all,

I finally got out to do some diggin this year, and while we didn't find a single thing in one piece, we did find an awfully promising site. Here are some of the shards we found and a question about one of them. They appear to be about 1830s or so, and it was all consistent, no newer stuff mixed in. The cologne is embossed N.S.P. Has anyone ever seen that before? McKearin and Wilson don't list it and I have been unable to find any clues as to what it may stand for. We will be going back there soon to try to locate a privy or maybe a less crushed area of dump []

Sean (the elusive amblypygid [:)])

I wonder about Kovel's Price Guide at times. They book the bottle below at fifty dollars. I have never seen one sell for that kind of money. I have four or five of them. I wish someone would offer me that kind of money for one, I would sell them all in a heartbeat !

Heh, no worries, I can take it. If the heartbreakers really bothered me I'd have keeled over long ago [:D]

Ron: what edition of Kovels are you looking in?! I've searched through editions 9-13 and I can't find it!

Thanks for the info everybody! I'll head back out there this week and see if I can find some clues to the NSP mystery that are intact. Or maybe that little baby scroll flask's intact brother [:)]

There's a stone-lined well that may be productive, but it's deep, narrow, and there's water in it. I'm going to try a probe before going too crazy.

D'oh!! It's a wonder I can find my ass with both hands, eh?

Hopefully I'll be better at finding the good part of this dump [8D]

Thanks Ron!
