Emerald Bottle with W ? & Co. Marking

In going through more of the bottles I inherited, I came across this one. There are no markings except for those on the bottom of W _ & Co with the "_" either a character, or maybe a ghost image of the "&". As you can see in the picture the character in question is obscured by a flaw. To me the best I can tell it looks like maybe an "S". Anyone recognize the marking???

Most likely is a T. W T & Co, indicating it was made by Whitall-Tatum & Company

That was my first thought, but the unknown character looks more like an s or other curved top letter. Hard to see in the pics, I know.

Its: W. T. & Co.

Whitehall Tatum & company

its a glass factory that made bottles for medicine companies from the 1890s to the 1920s / They also made insulators.

W T & Co is one of most common glass house marks on 19th century bottles. Supposedly around 1901 it changed to just W T CO
