For those not on ICON, I went to a local estate tag sale last Friday that advertised a "vintage insulator collection". I called them up a few days before and asked for some more details. They said they think the guy worked for a local utility company (KU) and there were some insulators they had never seen, but mostly porcelain. So, figured it was worth the short trip and a good excuse to leave work early. Showed up 15 min before they opened the doors and at start time went straight in to find the insulators. At first glance I didn't see anything that jumped out, but as I got over to them I grabbed these two CD 151's and quickly put them in my box as the price was great! The rest were common.
Anyways, long story, but I had a fun afternoon. The EIN [020] on the left is in excellent condition, but the EIN [010] on the right has about half of the dome missing, but looks great displayed.
