spent a little time on the spot I found on the river last summer, can reach by canoe only. tons of broken bottles, gout out of the canoe dug for a while, didnt find anything that was not broken very dissapointing. ony hit about 20% of the area , is it worth going back found a old pick type axe in the water nearby..nothing elses to show for a few hours of digging

hey steve, ive got a place like that right here in knoxville, the banks of the river might be packed as well, the creek here in knoxville is loaded with broken conrad budwiesers, hutches, and loads of stoneware, i did get one good bottle out of alot of digging!

I can't tell the age of the glass from what I see...doesn't look real old though.

Age would be the deciding factor for me.1920s-30s..a big maybe.Early 1900s-probably.1900 and before..you bet your as-ylum!!JAMIE

Well every thing looks broken. Id keep it as an option for a lazy Sunday. otherwise keep looking for better sites. When you come back go deep
on the digging every thing towards the surface probably is broken by a couple of board kids.
