First Dig Of 2011 First Historical Flask I found!

[align=left]Well I crossed another thing off of my bucket list today me and my buddy Mark went digging today after we found that the ground was thawed enough and man oh man am I glad we did was kinda cold out this morning and almost didn't go. I have dug several broken historical flask in the past but today I got my first whole on. Was a Union clasped hands flask. We dug several keepers on good 1870s druggist on nice north star flask with a very crude lip another 1870s flask that was not embossed a whisker dye bottle an injectionbro bottle and several coffin flask/whiskeys and others. I am so tickled about the flask though here is a video of our finds.

Nice finds [8D]! Can you post any videos/photos of the dig itself? What info can you offer on the size & type of privy, distance from house, location in yard, etc? Love as many details as possible [8|]. Thanks, GARY

Thanks all! The pit ended up being 8 ft long by 4 ft wide and around 5 ft deep. It was located behind what used to be a hotel that was established in 1870. We have yet to find the other pits they should have a lot more in them if they were not dipped everything we found in this one was from the 1870s and early 1880s the hotel was around until the 1920s. Here is some more photos of the dig.
