I found this at an antique store the other day and was looking for any information on it. Sorry for the bad pics again had to use the cell phone. Its hard to see but there is a fly or a wasp as the stopper.
Yep those are neat but i dont know much about them.I dig alot of the glass mouse traps here that when you put the bait in the mouse crawls in to get it but the middle is concaved and the mouse cant crawl out.
Hello, I just wanted to touch base on this one because I think I recognize the one that Indianabottledigger posted. My daughter made a trip to Europe when she finished college. She brought back one just like you have and had bought it in France. I use it at the cottage for yellow jackets, but I don't know what I should use for a bait. I have tried several things without much luck. When I am in NY I always use two fly traps with a dead sawbelly fish in each one, with water to the top of the inside bottom entry.

I'm not quite sure but if there is what looks like a hole in the bottom of it, it could have been a bee trap. They used to put honey or something in them that would draw the bees and then when they flew up in there they couldn't fly out. Sorry if im not right but i wish you good luck in your finds.
