Here is a few of the food bottles I've added to the old collection. Two in particullar I would like to know more about. One is the screw top 8 sided bottle it has HAZEN embossed across the top and a D over the Z and an M below the Z so reading from top to bottom it reads DZM and across of course is HAZEN. The other one is the BROOKE'S "LEMOS" bottle. I saw something about this bottle on a web side from South Africa. Evidently this stuff is still made but with a diffrent name. Was this stuff imported? See pics.

The Lemos was a product comparable to Rose's Lime juice.. popular in British colonies, as well as aboard ship (vit C)
..the green one is from the Seville Packing Co, NY, pickles probably.. next to that is a Heinz No. 37, prob. horseradish.. next is an olive oil, as are the other 2 shaped like it.. ..that's all I know for sure, hope it helps!

You have some nice digs there! The Brooke's Lemos is a nice one, not rare but not common. I have two sizes of it, and the patent date dates it from 1898? and onwards. I've seen screw cap versions on ebay. It's a lime water, like the well known L. Rose & Co. bottles.
