Hey Anna...

In that photo of you and your two friends, you're holding a bucket... were you guys out there clamming???[]
I know Essex has the best fried clams in the world, so with you guys all covered in mud, I thought you were getting clams for the "Clam Box"

I get down that way once every month or so to do some underwater work on a couple of the commercial fishing boats in Gloucester, so I drive through there. Nice to see you posting some pictures. Keep it up.

oh we werent clamming! we were bottle hunting of course! but the police came once because they thought i was clamming [:-]

they were quite suprised when i showed them the bottles i found!

I like the bottle hunting pic, Anna!! It brings back lots of memories for me, cuz thats the kind of low tide river muck I pulled most of my collection out of! did any of you get a shoe stuck in the muck yet?[]
Also, I see a few "big houses" there![]

hahaha the people that live in those houses arnt too nice considering they like to call the cops.. oh and i pretty much live on a marsh so i have mastered the art of not getting my boots stuck!

Yeah, the milk bottle is an old one I think, because of the slug plate and the lip shape.. maybe it's rare?
Anyway I wanted to say, before I was smart enough to wear boots, I used to just wander into the muck in my sneakers, I figured if I was gonna get dirty, I might as well do it right! But I lost a couple sneakers that way.. one day somebody will dig them up maybe.. I'm saving the matching ones, just in case..[]
