found bottles

hello again.

i have a clear bottle about 2 inches in hieght wouldve been a cork top but none with it alittle fat bottle with no writing on it but on bottom it has a257 and 4 under neath oh yes it does have a cork with it but it has grown smaller so inside the bottle- i live on the isle of man, could this be a ink bottle - we have an old shcool about 60 or 70 years old and this place i find my bottles used to be rubbish tip im trying to get my daughter to put pics up for me but she keeps forgetting ,

Hello margaret.
If you can post a picture it would be helpful in trying to identify your bottle.
It could be an ink bottle, as you describe, or it may be something else.
Hard to say without seeing it.

Where is the Isle of Man, by the way???
