Found Glass Razor Strop With a Kicker

Ran across this glass safety razor strop the other day. This was rather exotic I am thinking, as most folks used the inside of a drinking glass to sharpen safety razor blades says my dad. I had many straight razors and stropes over the years of collecting , butnever heard or seen a glass razor strope . This does not put me in the mind of one either . Learn something new every day though , could be I guess . Think I will do some research and see if I can come up with another example of this . If this is what that is then it is indeed a cool find .

Well by golly , went and did a search and found one same color calling it a strop . I can't believe that in the thirty plus years I bought sold and collected that I never came across one of these . I am wondering if this was for straight razors or just disposal blades .

I've seen Root Glass paper weights with same logo but don't recall that form. Very cool .

It is marked on the back on one edge Patent Applied For and on the opposite edge Chrystal Strop. It is for safety razors only, and is just about 3 1/2 inches square.
