Not sure if this bottle is pre- or post- 1900 (so I posted in both forums), but I found dozens of them while diving this morning. They are all 8 1/2 inches tall. They have an embossed eliptical shape on the bottom (should be able to make it out from the picture), but I can't read what is printed on any of the ones I have cleaned up so far. Does anyone know anything about these? Are they worth hauling up?

There are literally tons of bottles here just off shore. Most of the ones I have found are from the 1920s-1930s. The biggest problem has been cleaning them up, because they have a lot of encrusted sea life on them. So far I have found old vaseline bottles (Miroline & Chesebrough), medicine bottles (Indian Root Pills, Cod Liver Oil, Stomach Powder, etc.) and a bunch of old beer bottles. I just started collecting, but it seems like there is an almost endless supply of stuff down there.
