Found ink well today. I think?

Ace is that black residue on the stopper and "ink" stain on the inside of the bottle? What does the base look like? That one looks like it should have a ground pontil.....

This bottle seems more recent the seam goes through the lip. Taz yes there is a stain and residue on the on the stopper and bottle, It was full of liquid when I found it, I almost passed out when I opened it, I dumped it right away, it was dark brown liquid.

There are no markings on the base. You can see some tiny air bubbles in the glass.

Yeah, With an opening that big it could very well be a fancy ladies ink. What ever it is it is a beaut and you done good.[]
