Fraser bottle black glass

was wondering if anybody seen this bottle before and what it was used for and an age

I have one, a bigger size, in amber. I've also seen some pictures of cobalt ones. Is the neck ground on the inside for a glass stopper? Mine is. It's some kind of chemical or medicinal bottle, but I don't know what was in it. Probably 1880-1900.
