This is one of my favorites in my collection. But as it seems to go with the ones I really like, I am clueless about it. I welcome all comments or info. THANKS.[:D]

It's a chianti bottle, missing the raffia.

A chianti bottle is a traditional form that is used today. It is difficult to say much about the age of any individual chianti bottle, 'cause they were hand-finished well into the twentieth century. Collectors, even experienced collectors like yourself, often don't recognize the form without the raffia covering.
