I personally have embossed Redington Jamaica ginger, sample bottle, Dr. Newell's Pulmonary Syrup, Florida Water, Extracts. Probably the best known Redington bottles are the beautiful amber Bay Rum bottles which bring prices higher than my wallet can afford. If one includes products bottled after they became Coffin-Redington you add Monte Santo Olive Oil in two different sizes. I'm sure someone can add to the list. However I'm not aware of any 1856 vintage embossed Redington bottles maybe one of the advanced collectors who are forum members could help out?
All the embossed Redington bottles I have seen appear much later than that date.
I was wondering if they made anything embossed earlier than the 1870s.
From the James Parker SFCD vintage 1852-53 directory. They must have had some Eastern-blown bottles made particularly with the partner Story located on the East Coast. Hey they even supply leeches! All right!
