I went to visit my good digging friend Andrew and he was kind of enough to trade this to me for a future find of mine. Like in baseball.....he traded me for a future bottle to be named later...lol

Anyways it's a real nice soda to add to my digging collection.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Doug

I was at an antique show years ago, hadn't seen a decent bottle amongst all the other furniture and glassware for the past hour or so. Finally I see two San Francisco sodas, there in the middle of tables of depression glass and the dealer has them marked
$75 apiece.

One was a nice cornflower blue with olive streaks Crystal Soda Water Co, typical footed base with pierced rim lip...the other a C. A. Reiners & Co in -- as they say on ebay -- "western fire aqua" color. I offer the guy $100 for both, and he says Okay.

At the time (1995) $100 might have seemed a little steep, but the Reiners soda was the variant without the embossed address...one can see the slugged-in address in the photos above, where "San Francisco" was located on the original mold.
