I use 4.0 to its not the camera its, its in the program that you need to change the size, keep messing with it for instance I all ways shrink the pic to 400 that's a perfect size for me just lower your dimensions size see what happens. because that last bottle you posted I thought I saw a Jeanie pop out [;)] Rick

Well, I might as well add to the confusion.
Bring up the picture you are wanting to decrease the size of in the program called Irfan View that you have downloaded. Look at the top of the page for the tool bar, if there is a link called ADJUST as there is in my Photoshop III program, left click on it to open it. There should be an option in the opening window called resize. Left click on it. It will show you what the size of your picture is in numbers. If your picture is way too large, and you want to cut in half pertaining to its size, just change the numbers shown by reducing the first number size by half, the following number in the block next to it will change automatically as you change the first number. after you have changed the number, click okay. Save the picture in your Documents or My Pictures, or where ever you save your pictures, and then open it to see how much you have changed the size of it. Most of these programs in my experience requires experimentation to get the feel of how much to change the numbers to get the size picture you are wanting. Hope I have helped you and not confused you instead ![/align]

I always crop first, more than half the time that's enough for me.
I use Irfan 'cause it loads really fast. To crop just drag the mouse and a square will form. Make it get the image you want and and click edit at the top and crop selection. To resize use Image and resize/resample.
Easier than pie, which I find difficult. I always ruin the crust.

Here's a crop.

Also, with my 5.1 MP the macro works at 1MP setting in the camera. I never use above that. The web is still basically optimized for about 640X400.
The resized is 632X472 while the crop is 233X341.
I didn't bother with lighting for these.

I was just searching a bottle i found today and saw your post. What a dig Beendiggin! Those are some awesome finds! The bottle I was searching is the same Hood's Liver Pills you were asking about. Your "cosmetic bottle" looks like maybe some kind of polish for shoes or something. Could be wrong.
