group of various white milk glass

most of the round ones in the front row have MUM on the bottom and say NEW YORK, NEW YORK...are they some kind of cream? and what are the others?

Yes, most of these are cream bottles, especially the large one on the left and those in the back row.

I have quite a few of those.
I have a bunch of those smaller ones.
Like they said not much value, I found an embossed Woodbury with lid that no one touched on eBay.
Keep collecting them though, Ya never know what you will find!

Mum was a deodorant/anti-perspirant cream, competitor of Arrid, in the days before roll-ons, sprays etc. Very common.

They are usually some type of cosmetic jars. I have a couple small one's that say Mother's Salve Chicago on the base if anyone has information on them?
I also have a couple that have the lid with Lustre Creme Shampoo on them.
They are so plentiful I no longer pick them up. So if you want more just let me know. Like the other folks said, not much value. Hope this helps.
