Wow. What a cool story. I'm sure that the guy was pretty feaked out. All of the air bubbles in the video makes me think he was thrashing around like mad to get away. But, I can't say that I would be any better. That thing looked like it was all over him!

I know that there are no sharks here (where I dive), but every now and then a fish bonks into you. When you are in black water conditions, it can scare the crap out of you. On our last trip out, my dive buddy and I just bumped into each other and it scared us both! Now add that thing and you'd have plenty to worry about.

Glad you not letting this get you Alan. (Maybe leave your camera at home for awhile.)
