Here is the other green ACL I found a few of. Harmony Club Beverages. These have the original caps and contents.

From the bottom I think these date from 1966. It looks like a 65 modified to a 66. These are near mint condition. I want $15. each and only want to sell a couple of these. You can combine shipping if you want to get a Clicquot Club bottle at the same time.

You're the expert and not me ... but the label on your bottle sure looks older than 1966. I could be all wet here, but just for the fun of it check the lip for a letter and, if there is one, compare it to the list below. Those Glenshaw bottles can (at least for me) be doozies to date. I have one with 1937 on the bottom that is actually a 1946. You may need a magnifying glass to see the letter ... that is if there even is one. [X(]

Actually, 1966 is the correct date on that one. Glenshaw used the letter on the lip into the early 50's, then sometime in the 50's began double dating, and by the 1960's they dropped the lip dating system altogether. From the 60's on, the date is to the right of the Glenshaw mark on the bottom. bottlingco

Thanks. I was hoping someone would put me in my place. I think what threw me was the old timey graphics. By 1966 the Beatles were already going strong and the world was changing fast. With soda pop typically focused on the youth, it's hard to imagine that a night club dancing girl would attract much interest at that time. Maybe that explains why I liked Mountain Dew so much ... I was a 14 year old country boy then, and more into neighbors shooting at each other with shotguns than I was in high society stuff. [8|]

Thanks a lot,

SODAPOPBOB,
I agree that the graphics on the Harmony Club look 40's. Knowing the stories behind some of the labels on these bottles is quite interesting. I don't know many of them, but, the few that I do are interesting. By the way, on another thread you were posting on, I noticed a pile of snakes. I may never go out in the woods again!! bottlingco

Harmony Club later dropped the woman from the ACL. Same graphics without the woman. They made their acl bottles into the 1970's.

There is a matching bottle to yours that says "Ginger Ale" on the neck and main acl, in place of the word "Beverages".

Hello. Long shot here ;-) I realize this thread is over a decade old but if you have a sip bottle you'd like to part with please let me know. My father in law's family owned and operated Scranton Beverage Co when he was growing up and I'm sure he'd get a kick out of having a sip bottle. We were discussing that flavor last night.

Thanks
Randy
