Hi, again
Even though I am still hopeful of eventually hearing from Ivybriana, I thought the following might be of interest. I spent several hours searching for a Graham 576 Graham Hobbleskirt that had a heelmark with the letter 'R" to see what it looked like. Unfortunately, I could not find one. However, I did find several references for them, but no actual photos of the "R" mark. As a consequence, I went back to the Lockhart/Porter articles where the "R" is shown. As stated in the snippet in my last post, the "R" was modified from the letter "P" - which means it was originally a "P" with the 'leg' of the "R" added that apparently changed it from a 1916 date code to a 1918 date code.
My primary reason for this new post is to compare what appears to be a "P" on Ivybriana's bottle to the "R" on Bill Porter's bottle. Even though the Porter photos are not that clear, you can see part of the 'leg' on the "R" in both photos. Now compare it to Ivybriana's mark. Even though I can't say for certain, I don't see a so-called 'leg' on Ivybriana's mark. If it is a true "P" and not an "R", then we are back to the possibility that it is indeed a 1916 date code. (Maybe?)

Note: I converted Ivybriana's mark to black & white with the hope it would clarify it.
