Help with Identification

Can any one tell me what this use to be The bottle stands 5 inches tall and maybe about how old it could be

I would call that a "barrel mustard jar" ..because it's shaped like a barrel and it probably held mustard, or some other condiment..and it likely dates to 1890 - 1910.

Hello Crich9; I agree with cyberdigger - it is a mustard jar. We would need to see a picture of the bottom to check for makers I.D. We should also know if the mold seam goes up over the finish on top of the bottle. We should also probably have a picture of the top of the bottle to determine if it was a burst off and ground top for the sealing lid. This will help us know more about your bottle. RED M.

Here is pic of the bottom I can get a picture of the top but it will b later in the day. The seam is very faint and it appears to go all the way up to the top but it also appears to have indentations on the bottom of the bottle right where the seams are. I dont know if this is just a coincidenceor the way its suppose to be. The top is chipped up all the way arond the lip of the bottle also. That is an air bubble in the bottom too.
