Can anyone tell me how common or uncommon these bottles are?

What sizes do they come in?
This one is 9 inches tall.

Any thoughts on what looks like a double stamping on the bottom.

Ball park value. Thanks, Roy

Wow, that's very interesting! Until I saw the base I was thinking it was a modern decorative bottle. Any idea what the story is behind it? Was it some sort of figural bitters or something?

When I pulled it out of a box of bottles I
thought it was new at first but as I continued to look at it I was sure it was old. It had a lot of staining on the inside and a bit of wear on the base. I asked about it and the salesman said it was old, and he thought there were several different sizes. The only ones I have found so far are on Worthpoint .
One is 5 1/5 inches tall with a label, and the other is 7 and 8/6 inches tall, (whatever that is). I don't have a Worthpoint account, so I can't access the selling prices. This one is 9 inches tall.
I've only tumbled the inside and I'm superhappy with the results, looks great in the window.
The double stamping on the base is a mystery to me.

Well that is pretty interesting.
Thank you for finding that.

The bottle that you found has a HENRY MEYER on the label.
The one I found on Worthpoint before has RHEINSTROM BROS. on the label.
Very interesting. If mine had a label , I wonder who would be on it.
It's just as well, I actually prefer the bottle without a label.

Oh that's interesting, I wonder if it was a generic bottle and label design which could have different distillers' names added on. I've seen similar things with pharmacy bottles but never a figural before. What city is the Worthpoint one from? I can't find it by searching.

Ahhhh, the plot thickens.

I wonder how many distillers there were that used the same bottle and almost the same label.
One might be able to make a nice collection of just these bottles with all different labels. Just a thought.
I'm still trying to figure out how many sizes this bottle came in.

Great bottle...maybe you can get a reproduction sticker made...place it on your bottle and sell it for $1,300. I bet you that bottle is worth $500. as-is purplish. Great find.
