Help with the purpose of this bottle

New here, and new to vintage bottles. I unearthed a cache of interesting pieces a few days back and have been fascinated by the process of researching their dates and functions. I'm wondering about this Foster Forbes clear glass bottle. It's a 10 oz bottle and the patent number appears on the bottom, 94824. The patent date is 1935, The digits around the "FF" logo read: (L)9, (R)6, (B)6. I'd like to know what types and or brands of products were sold in bottle of this type. Any help would be great! Thank you.

Well your bottle was not made by the Foster Forbes Glass Co. The mark on the bottle is for the Owens Illinois Glass Co. The 9 tells us the bottle was made at the Streator, Ill plant. The 6 is a date code for 1936 and the six on the bottom is a code for the mold.
I am not sure what the bottle would have contained. Further research on the patent number may help.
The logo for Foster Forbes is as follows
