How was it made ?

This little fella is 2" tall .There are no mold lines anywhere on this thing ,neck is slightly off center and crooked ,odd bulges in sides with what look like horseshoe marks on all 4 sides .The lip looks too perfect and the bottom has a raised dimple in the center but looks almost polished or torched .This was a dug bottle (dump age 1900- 196 ?)that was in the wash me pile .How was it made ?Thanks for any info ! []

Hey Rick,

Cool little chameleon. This photo is throwing me for a loop.

Looking different in each photo...

Can'ya wipe the hair off, and make it stand up straight? Looks kinda like a pinch bottle in the 2nd & last photos, but not the others. Sorry to be no help, but I would like to see more please.

Here are some hopefully better pics . You mentioned pinch bottles ,not sure i have seen one ,but seems like this could be made with a tool that works like a four leaf mold maybe with open sides.Kind of like a 4 pronged pair of tongs ,not sure if such a tool exists but bottle would have to be held to form lip .
