If the railroad ran back when those foundations were houses,they would have been mighty close to the train tracks. I think the tracks came later. It must have been a trail first,then a rail line later.
I don't know for sure because I haven't researched it.But I can't see a train running a mere 30 feet from a row of houses.

I guess I will have to start searching for info.

Holy chitt ! that will rattle the windows! Come to think of it,we did find a lot of window glass in those trash holes [8D]

SORRY GUYS, WOULD HAVE CHIMED IN EARLIER BUT MY CAT CHEWED STRAIGHT THROUGH MY CHARGING WIRE FOR MY LAPTOP JUST GOT NEW ONE TONIGHT.THE RAILROAD THAT WENT THROUGH THERE WOULD MOST LIKELY HAVE BEEN LEHIGH VALLEY RAILROAD WHICH MATCHES LETTERS ON BRAKE AND ALSO ON THE BROKEN GLOBE THAT WAS IN THE TRASH PIT. BADGER
