Has anyone ever seen a E. LONG'S INDIAN HERB BITTERS ? It's an indian queen mold and from the looks of the one I have pictured in my book here, the shield is empty. It also has the sort of lip finish as the one I just posted above. They sell for 5 figures though.
MEECH...oops...I never did reply to yer email about acquiring that fake Queen did I? ( I was too filled with spiteful jealousy & envy to respond).
WTG !!! I been lookin' ever since, but no luck.[]
The Long's pictured in For Bitters Only has embossing on the shield....
It's 1/2 inch shorter than the Brown's...and the fringe edge differs.
I think the one with the bare shield you mention is the "H.Pharazyn Philadelphia Right Secured" . The embossing is where the patent date usually is.
And there's another:" Mohawk Whiskey Pure Rye"...lettered in the shield.
I'd like to have one of all the variations...might as well dream big...[]
Meech , I think Charlie about covered it !
One more thing .... The Pharazyn has the blank sheild higher than on the others ( like the Indian is holding in his hand) . If I remeber correctly......haven't seen many .... and the ones I did see was many years ago. All I have is a couple Brown's (
