has to be nuked, it didn't get that way from being buried in the ground, that dark purple takes many a year exposed to sunlight. I had thirty or so bottles that I dug back in the sixties on a shed roof for 15 years and none of them got that purple........

I remember stories of people trying that. It NEVER worked in new England and if it doesn't work in Calif I see why.There were also stories of people going to the old Spencer Gifts stores and trying black light. That was a total waste of electricity and time.[]
