Streets change, my young friend... I've dug (and own) bottles with nonexistent streets on them...

As for the bottle, it looks good to me... I'd be all over it is it was local. But the seller's description screams "WEIRDO!" to me, and the starting price is way high... Make a lower offer before you bid.

Well, after looking at the label closer I discovered something kinda interesting, the label says the drugstore is located at the "Cor. of  Jefferson & Washington"

Just one problem,There is no corner of  Jefferson & Washington Streets. They're located on opposite sides of the Square,So I guess this is a misprint?
I have a feeling that Rt. 43 was at one time Washington St....

Thats what I thought too,But I checked several Sanborns from 1925,1914,1892 & 1897,The streets all have the same names in the same places as now.I agree that the sellers description is nuts,The price does seem a little high, and I might make a lower offer,But if they don't accept I would gladly pay the price they're asking,Doubt I'll ever see a (non-Acl)labeled local bottle again.

Epackage - Rt. 43??

I think North Jackson St. may have been named Washington St at the turn of the century or there abouts, with East & West Washington running off of it right before Jefferson St.

West Washington and East Washington are bisected down the middle by North Jackson, it therefore makes sense that at one time it may have been Washington St. running North & South...Therefore bisecting Jefferson giving us the home of Harvey's Pharmacy...It's just a theory, but it would put it right in the area I have outlined which seems like a busy place and a central location to the area.

Well,I'm still going to have to say a misprint,Heres a view of the Square from a 1902 Sanborn,As you can see,Jefferson is on the south side,Madison on the west,Jackson on the east, and Washington on the north.By the way,I know the location of the Harvey drugstore(It was also Harvey & Roby for several years).Thats not the issue,Just that the location stated on the label doesn't exist.

Here are the listed druggists in 1906 in Kosciusko when Harvey was alone, sadly it doesn't give an address...
