I'm not much of a jar guy, but this had enough character for me to pick up. I beleive it is a half gallon size atlas strong shoulder mason. I love the big old bubble in it and the amber/olive swirls. Too bad the lid is a Ball. It would be neat to have a matching atlas lid.

So, jar experts: does this have any value?

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This definitely has value. The bubble doesn't really do it, but the amber swirls are really nice. There are some collectors that collect color runs of Atlas jars. They are attainable jars that come in a range of colors so you could put together a great run. This one, with the amount of swirls, would be pretty desireable.

Oh, and don't worry too much about the lid. Atlas lids are pretty common. I use them interchangably with Ball lids.

I really like this jar, but I'm learning I can't collect everything. I suppose I'll entertain offers. I can email you additional pictures if you like.
