I am assuming this is an ink, but never have I seen one with a manufactured neck at 45 degrees! Anyone seen this before? Any idea on value? This belongs to a friend who acquired this in a display collection. Any date ideas? I'm guessing late 70's early 80's as it looks to be an applied string lip but base looks 90's style. I read where the co. started in 1867 and were makers of drafting & surveying instruments and this is likely a specialized ink bottle. Any info/thoughts appreciated. Thanks. Jack

I've never seen that one and think it's one of the more interesting inks ever. I am pretty sure it wouldn't bring a ton of money being colorless and all but the casual ink specialist should be all over it. Thanks for sharing.

that's an eye catcher for sure. i've never seen one.

to be sure, one of the ink collectors on here will have more info than me.

the ink market went crazy years ago and priced me out.

looks like a winner !!

Well one thing for sure it would be a bugger to make on an ABM. becasue the blank parison mold and the final mold would be tough to make. The take out would have a hard time setting it out on the delivery dead plate. So I am hoping there are no seams on the finish. RED Matthews

K&E made some good stuff. I've got an optical level and some drafting instruments of Daddy's. The Greer collection had a small pontilled bottle embossed "Keuffel & Esser Liquid Verdigris". That's a really neat bottle, Jack.

Wicked cool ink Jack. Price wise it seems like ink prices are down a bit. If it were mine, and I didnt need to sell it, I'd probably hang on to it and catch inks on the upswing. Certainly never seen an ink in that shape, never mind an embossed one! It looks like when they emptied it out, they could have used it as an emergency bed pan :] a very small one...
