Picked this up last week late in the morning at a small local market. I make no claims as to age but the price was good.

I thougth so too, I don't know enough about this kind'a stuff to say it's new or old. But since there's re-enactors every weekend in my area, I figured I'd make a quick buck and let'er go. If my back holds out I'm off to work on either an old well or privy, don't know how to tell the difference by looking. The hole has already a good three or four foot under the surrounding area. Which makes me wonder if it's a privy did it just not ever get fillied in or has it sunk that much.

I has an offer for 200+ and it's gone I have no idea if it was old or not and said so to the new owner. They made no indication either but seemeed to be happy. On to the next adventure.
