My husband dug this bottle up on the banks of the Panama Canal around the late 60's early 70's.
The printing on the front of the bottle - Biet Fils Aine Salon France Depose
On both sides of the bottle is Ls Perle Pure Olive Oil (one side in English the other in French)
and the numbers 439 on the bottom.
It's about 9 inches tall and about 3 inchs at the widest point. The neck is not straight and the
lip appears to have a fold in the glass. There are several bubbles throughtout the glass.
This was dug up from a townsite which would have closed down when the canal was completed
in 1917. Does anyone have an idea? (I hope the picture displays)
Thanks in advance for your help[]
