It's pretty far gone, but the only lock I have brought back, so it's a keeper even if it turns out to be ten years old (I always collect one of every odd thing I find for my 'second museum' aka my shed loft.) I found it in the woods out of one of our numerous Elementary Schools (Ross Park) and upon spotting it thought it a large D-cell battery. I'm glad I was wrong. It says on the back, "Master Lock Co. / PATENTED MADE IN / MILWAUKEE WIS. U.S.A." then a key-hole, surrounding a ring that has in it (upside down!) "375 V56" The front is--was-- a combination-lock and above it says, "MASTER". Anyone recognize these as a locker-lock or bike-lock? Know a year? I found it whilst detouring home form my insulator hunt. See my insulator here. (I just learned how to do a link like that today! Hopefully it works on your computer too, else you think I'm loco! Well, you'd be right anyway...)
