What drives me crazy is people will list a bottle on fleabay then log on the bottle forum and ask what its worth.
WTF??? Its in an auction , wait 7 days and you will find out what its worth.

Unlikely, but... if it's a good piece, they may have received an off-line offer for a straight sale if they end the auction early. A response here could indicate if they're getting lowballed.

I try to help people as much as possible on here, but it's really hard.[] I almost never see Chicago bottles on here, being as how common most of them are and of course that that is what I would know about too.[sm=rolleyes.gif] Dr Pepper is also one of my strong points.

I think some people might think they could get into collecting, etc. bottles, but then just get bored with it and move on to something else. -Julie

I think alot of people think because they have an old bottle or anything old for that matter thats its worth a ton and then when they find out its worth a few dollars they get disapointed. Old don't make it valuable. Collecting is like a casino you have to spend big to win big! Every now and then somebody will get something good for cheap.

It's up to the individual -if they get bored or loose interest[]----nothing in the rules that says you can't go back--or do it once in awhile[8D]. I'm a hard core bottle nut[sm=tongue.gif][sm=rolleyes.gif]. I'm just more interested than most. To each his own[8|].

I was searching for a member in the member list and was amazed howmany new members only posted between 1 and 3 times then are not heard from again...thats too bad, maybe a lot just research and dont leave feedback?

Thats why I started a thread many moons ago called "New members and old reply to this post" got about 90,000 hits but they are still hiding.[8D]
